For over 10 years I have been working to create user-friendly computers.  From toy robots at Sphero and Disney, to phones and wearables at Google, and empathetic conversational AI's at Maslo and Inflection. I have been driven to develop products and experiences that bring people and technology closer together in a more natural and enjoyable way.

I recently published a book with my longtime friend & collaborator, Cansu Hizli: Designing AI Companions.

I currently lead product innovation at Mattel and advise a handful of amazing startups.
